About this Event
Free Career Development and Employer Workshop for Disabled and Neurodivergent Jobseekers
Tuesday 6 October, 10am to 12 noon, at Here East in London, delivered in partnership by Scope and Evenbreak.
On 6 October, Scope and Evenbreak are coming together to host a free employment workshop for jobseekers.
This interactive session is designed for disabled and neurodivergent job seekers, from entry level through to more experienced professionals, who are keen to strengthen their job search skills, improve their CVs and gain valuable insights from employers.
While everyone is welcome, this session will have a predominantly London-focused employment perspective, with opportunities and employer representatives relevant to the local area.
By attending, you’ll get to:
· Meet a few employers and recruitment professionals, from a variety of sectors (employers to be confirmed)
· Learn what employers really look for in CVs and applications
· Take part in practical recruitment and shortlisting activities
· Gain advice on interviews, applications and standing out as a candidate
· Ask questions about disability, workplace adjustments and accessible recruitment
· Learn about current and future opportunities, including jobs, apprenticeships, graduate schemes and work experience
The workshop will be interactive, supportive and focused on providing practical advice that participants can immediately apply to their job search.
The event is open to all jobseekers over 18, and free to attend. We would love to see you there and support you with the first steps of your new career.
