Care for the Self, Care for the Earth

April 22 is Earth Day! Caring for the Earth begins within, and the way we treat the Earth impacts our peace and happiness. Join us in experimenting with positive, peaceful thoughts as care for the self. We will also learn practical ways to care for the Earth from the BK Environment Initiative, and from a representative of Chicago’s Composting Department. Program includes meditation and vegan lunch.

Guest speaker Sonja Ohlsson is International Coordinator of BK Environment Initiative and Coordinator of the BK Meditation Center in Copenhagen, Denmark.
