On May 11, 2023, ChildNet will hold its 8th annual Care For Kids Luncheon at the Lauderdale Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale. We are excited to celebrate our Champion for Children honoree, Melida Akiti of Memorial Healthcare. Melida's dedication, passion, and commitment to child welfare are one of a kind. We look forward to recognizing her for all that she has done in our community and hope you will join us.The Champion for Children Award is presented to a person in recognition of his or her significant accomplishments and commitment to children and youth in the communities we serve. These accomplishments demonstrate a dedication to children's causes that has resulted in long-lasting, systemic effects.
The funds raised from this event allow ChildNet to prioritize the needs of our children, youth, and caregivers, as well as to capitalize on emerging opportunities and respond to unforeseen challenges.
