About this Event
Care for Children & the Art of Living foundation are hosting a fundraising event, Navratri Raas Garba 2025, a cultural festival of ethnic music by renowned singer Vatsala Patil and dance. The proceeds from the event will support educating 67,000 children that are studying in 600 schools throughout India.
The dance form of Garba pays respect to all nine forms of mother goddesses during Navratri, the nine nights of divine. The festival of Navratri is celebrated the beginning of the Ashwin (autumn) and the beginning of Chaitra (spring), months according to the Hindu calendar. During these times when nature transforms for new beginnings, the festival of Navratri is a time to rejuvenate our minds.
Garba originated in Gujarat but has spread to various parts of India and Hindu communities across the world. And all can learn and celebrate during this auspicious day together.
