About this Event
Join us for the launch of Care Connect!
We are thrilled to introduce Care Connect, a new community within the Jacob Way Wellness Connections series. This isn't your typical support group; it’s a place to recharge, find strength, and build genuine friendships with other families navigating childhood cancer.
What to Expect at the Mixer: To kick things off, we are hosting a relaxed Book Club Mixer! There is no need to have read the book yet—this is an "Intro Party" where we will hand out copies and get to know each other over refreshments.
- Connect: Meet other caregivers and families in a warm, welcoming environment.
- Refresh: Enjoy delicious coffee and snacks on us.
- Read: We are introducing our Spring selection: Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. It’s a funny, heartwarming story about the power of human connection—perfect for a mental escape.
📚 SPECIAL GIFT: The first 15 people to register will receive a copy of the book for FREE to take home!
Who is this for?
Open to All Caregivers Seeking Community While our priority is supporting families navigating childhood cancer, Care Connect is open to caregivers of any type.
We believe in the power of a shared village. Whether you are a cancer parent, a guardian, extended family, or a caregiver walking a different path, you are welcome here. Our goal is to build a supportive community where everyone can find connection, rest, and strength together.
Come for the free book, stay for the community. We can't wait to see you there!
