Cardinal West

Cardinal West is a five-piece folk-rock band based in Canton, Georgia, as well as a presence in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded by singer-songwriters Matthew Hughes and Luke Millen, the band combines heartfelt storytelling, rich harmonies, and folk-rock instrumentation. The name Cardinal West is a tribute to the drive along I-24 West from Georgia to Tennessee; a route that is central to the band's musical influences and journey. Influenced by artists like Jason Isbell and Turnpike Troubadours, Cardinal West blends modern Americana with indie rock, creating songs that are both deeply personal and universally relatable. The band delivers an authentic live performance that invites audiences to sing along, connect, and keep coming back.
