Our second Record & CD fair of the new year is in Cardiff & will be held on Sunday 12th of January at St Mary's Church Hall, Church Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 2EA.
We will be open from 10am-3pm with £1 admission (this goes toward increased cost of advertising & the venue hire).
For this fair we will again also have 'Wales - 100 Records' book stall with author, DJ Huw Stephens. Huw will be at the fair from 10am-1pm.
And we will also be joined by author Neil Collins with his book - International Velvet- How Wales Conquered the '90s Charts'.
Also, as with the last couple of fairs, we are teaming up with Kegbelly, 12 Park Road, Whithchurch, CF14 7BG. They will be offering 10% discount on the day for attendees of the record fair!
We have taken over the running of this fair from Valleys Record Fairs who will also still be attending the fair. They are also buying record & CD collections if in excellent condition (please contact Pete on 07954 783862).
We also buy or trade records if in excellent condition & depending on what the music is. If bringing records into a fair it’s usually best sometime between 1pm & 2:30pm when we’re likely to be less busy.
For this fair, as well as local sellers, we have sellers from the Midlands, Cornwall, the South West & West Wales.
We are adding sellers new to this fair and also rotating some sellers at future fairs to try to bring more variety to this Cardiff fair.
There will be 1000s of items for sale with a wide variety of new, used & rare records & CDs to browse through- prog/ psych/ rock/ metal/ reggae/ dance/ hip hop/ jazz/ free jazz/ ECM/ krautrock/ J-Pop/ anime/soul/ funk/ Afrobeat/ folk/ blues/ world/ experimental music/ minimalism/ 50s/ 60s/ 70s/ 80s/ 90s/ 00s/ 10s/ 20s/ indie/ grunge/ Indian music/ drum & bass/ punk/ hardcore punk/ post-punk & more!!!
The above mentioned genres are just those generally available on our stall- different sellers at our fairs may have others.
We can take card payments as can some of the other dealers, however, not all dealers at our fairs have card machines so it’s a good idea to bring some cash too.
