Cardboard Connect 2023

For ten years, YouthServe and One Roof have presented a collaborative retreat - called Cardboard Connect - as a way to inform youth of the challenges facing people experiencing homelessness and the many barriers to finding permanent affordable housing. This year, One Roof will introduce a new take on their homeless simulation activity and YouthServe will be among the first to participate. In addition, there will be a panel of experts from One Roof, the Way Station, and others to answer questions and offer insight on how youth can help. The retreat will end with a candlelight vigil honoring those experiencing homelessness who were lost in the last year.

Service project will include creating care packages for the Way Station and other partners.

Dinner and snacks will be served.
