Roll up your sleeves, put on your construction hats ?‍♀️, and get ready to create with a little cardboard starting on June 7.
Cardboard: Build Outside the Box ? is a new, interactive exhibit that puts you and your imagination at the center of the experience. Our 13-foot cardboard robot ? will welcome you into our construction zone, where the only limit is your creativity. Whether you want to build a cityscape ?️, design your own spaceship ?, or engineer a rocket and see how far it can fly ?, the only material you need to use is cardboard!
Exhibit Highlights:
? Master the Art of Cardboard: Create stained glass creations and sculptures.
? Engineer the Future: Design futuristic cars and rockets and watch them soar.
? Create Cardboard Characters: Stage and produce your own shadow puppet theater.
?️ Construct the Toledo of Tomorrow: Build our community's future infrastructure out of cardboard.

Cardboard is one of the most versatile materials, easily transformed with a simple cut ✂️, fold ?, or piece of tape ?️. By using recycled cardboard, this exhibit not only sparks creativity but also promotes sustainability ?. In partnership with Welch Packaging, all discarded cardboard will be properly recycled ♻️, reducing the demand for new resources and conserving energy.
Cardboard: Build Outside the Box opens on June 7 and runs through Labor Day. This exhibit is free ? with admission, so bring your ideas and get ready to unbox your creativity!
