Carbon Literacy Training - accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project

Carbon Literacy is relevant climate change learning for everyone. Come and find out how people are taking action in Stratford-on-Avon district and think about new ways to create a low carbon culture. Learning takes place at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.

We’re enthusiastic about this approach to community learning to help us tackle the key issue of our times, the climate emergency. Previous participants describe our Carbon Literacy course as “very informative”, “collaborative” and “lots of fun” – so come along, get involved and help make a difference!

To receive your Carbon Literacy certificate, you must attend both sessions of the course on 7th and 13th November, from 1pm to 5pm. You only need to purchase one ticket to attend both sessions. Refreshments will be provided during each session and donations to support this are welcome.

Following the 13th November session, you’re also welcome to join our gathering with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust Carbon Literacy group from 5pm-6pm, to relax and celebrate the Carbon Literacy Project together.

To participate in this event, you will need to register for a ticket so that we can manage capacity. Our events are frequently oversubscribed so if you are subsequently unable to attend, please cancel your Eventbrite booking so we can make room for others on the Wait List.
