Carbon county PlantFest 5 years!!!!!!!This year, Carbon County PlantFest will mark its 5th year in celebrating plants, music, art and community. Attendees can expect handmade crafts, baked goods, interactive activities, etc, and of course, common, and rare plant species.
Our group broke onto the scene in 2020 starting with a small plant swap for the online group Carbon County Plant People (BST) to trade plants with local plant enthusiasts and even though it rained, the small event was a success and members were asking for another swap soon after.
When we began planning following year, the group began asking to expand the event to allow for sales in addition to trading. After some research, support from the local community, and a lot of prep work, we were able to host our very first PlantFest.
Over the past 5 years we have supported many local non-profits, local bands, artists, crafters, businesses and will to continue to do so every year.
Our goal has always been to have a free event for the local community, while also giving creatives, and plant people an opportunity to connect and succeed with their passions.
