Carabiner Crochet - Speed-friending

Throughout the session we will have everyone sat in groups of 3-4. We will set a timer for every 20 minutes and at this time admins will encourage people to move around and have the chance to chat to new people.

We understand this can be a daunting premise for some so do not be afraid to reach out for any more clarity or to ask for specific support from the admins. We encourage people to still bring along whatever project they are working on and we will also provide some prompt questions on each table to help startconversations.

There will also be aseparate designated table for those who donot want to participate in the speed-friending but would like to still socialise.

You can buy drinks and food from The Tram Depot bar. We hope that everyone can make some new friends and share ideas and knowledge on what they're making.

The Tram Depot is fully wheelchair accessible and we hope that we can create a sensory friendly space in the side room they are providing for us. Please do bring along any accessiblity tools that will help you enjoy our session.

There is an accessible toilet. The toilets are gendered, a tight squeeze and up stairs, however there is a unisex accessible toilet on the ground floor.
