Car Seat Safety Distribution Event- St. Pete-Saturday, April 18

St. Petersburg Fire Rescue and the Juvenile Welfare Board are excited to invite John’s Hopkins All Childrens Hospital, Safe Kids Suncoast and the St. Petersburg Police Department to participate in our First Year Safety Fair for Babies & Caregivers. Join us for our Car Seat Safety Distribution Session on Saturday, April 18th-register for a 1/2 hour appointment! This event will take place at Childs Park Rec Center located at 4301 13th Avenue South, in St. Petersburg, FL 33711. We'll be providing car seats and educating parents and caregivers on proper installation and use. Don't miss out on this opportunity to keep your little ones safe on the road.

The car seat safety distribution sessions are reserved for families who are unable to obtain a car seat at the regular cost. Car seats can be distributed for unborn children or for children who are outgrowing their current seat.

*The limit is one car seat per child. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to distribute car seats for a second vehicle. The purpose of the program is that each child has the opportunity to ride safely in a car. We will provide education to transfer car seats from vehicle to vehicle. *

Register only once per family attending.

If you are expecting, please register for during the last trimester of your pregnancy. When registering -select the number of child car seat(s) needed for your unborn child(ren), ie. if you are expecting twins, you would select 2 child tickets and please enter N/A in the name, age, weight and height fields.

Car seats available for participant are convertible car seats, which accommodate children from infancy (rear-facing starting at 5 lbs) and switch to the forward facing (up to 65 lbs).
