Car Seat Safety Distribution Event- Lakeland-Wednesday, July 10, 2024

Location: in Lakeland-Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Outpatient Care Center

Join us for our Car Seat safety distribution event on Wednesday, July 10, 2024! This car seat event is hosted by Safe Kids Florida Suncoast led by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital supported by Safe Kids Worldwide and State Farm. We'll be providing car seats and educating parents and caregivers on proper installation and use. Don't miss out on this opportunity to keep your little ones safe on the road.

The car seat distribution event are designed for families who are unable to obtain a car seat at the regular cost. Car seats can be distributed for unborn children or for children who are outgrowing their current seat.

*The limit is one car seat per child*, Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to distribute car seats for a second vehicle. The purpose of the program is that each child has the opportunity to ride safely in a car. Education and installation are a requirement to obtain a car seat for our program. We will provide education to transfer car seats from vehicle to vehicle.

Register for one time slot once per family attending.

If you are expecting, please register for this event during the last trimester of your pregnancy. When registering for this event-select the number of child car seat(s) needed for your unborn child(ren), ie. if you are expecting twins, you would select 2 child tickets and please enter N/A in the name, age, weight and height fields.

Car seats available for participant are convertible car seats, which accommodate children from infancy (rear-facing starting at 5 lbs) and switch to the forward facing (up to 65 lbs). Booster seats are for children who are at least 4 years old and weigh a minimum of 40 lbs.
