Car seats save lives — literally. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), approximately 325 children under the age of 5 are saved each year by car seats. That’s why choosing the right car seat and using it correctly every time is so important.
To help keep our youngest passengers safe, the Huntington Beach Police Department is offering a FREE Car Seat Check-Up Service for our community. A properly installed car seat can make all the difference in a crash.
Join us for our next Car Seat Check-Up event:

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• HBPD Parking Lot – 2000 Main Street
• No appointment needed!
Certified technicians will be on-site to help you learn how to install and maintain your child’s car seat correctly. We’ll also have a limited number of free car seats available for families in need.
