Acclaimed for his expressive musicianship and exuberant virtuosity, Gautier Capuçon – ‘among the greatest of cellists’ (The Arts Desk) – brings his Capucelli cello ensemble to the National Concert Hall with a programme to seduce and surprise.
Six young alumni of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, and former NCH Young Musician Killian White, join Capuçon for new arrangements of familiar music by Bizet, Bartók, Tchaikovsky, Leonard Bernstein and more, alongside work commissioned by the ensemble, including NCH Artist-in-Residence Bryce Dessner’s The Forest. It’s the cello as you’ve never heard it before.
