As a North Charleston native, a graduate of R.B Stall High School (2003) and member of the NCFD for the past 18 years, Captain Jones is committed to giving back to the community he both grew up and serves in.Captain Jones is currently the assigned Captain of Rescue 207 and has always been an exemplary firefighter and leader. In addition to his role as Captain, he is a member of South Carolina Task Force 1, a Rope Rescue Tech, a certified Confined Space Tech, a Structural Collapse specialist, and the recipient of multiple honorary awards throughout his career. Captain Jones is a true asset to the NCFD.
In October of 2022, Captain Jones sustained an injury during the operation of an apartment fire, leaving him unable to work.
Due to his injury, Captain Jones recently underwent an invasive neck surgery and is currently recovering. Unfortunately, this has rendered Captain Jones incapable of work, full or part-time.
All of this occurred right before he and his wonderful wife, Margaret, brought a new life into the world, making the Jones Family, a family of 4!
We are hosting this benefit to give back to someone who has for so long given his everything to the community.
All Proceeds from this event will go to Captain Jones and his family. If you’d like to make a donation it can be done by clicking the Get tickets option below and choosing the donation selection.
Admission | Tickets include:
One meal, per tickets, provided by Oh Yah BBQ.
The first 100 tickets will receive an event mug provided by Hart + Flora.
The Day of:
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on-site, via cash or Venmo for various prizes.
Bring a bag or box of diapers in exchange for raffle tickets as well, the bigger the box, the more tickets you receive! (Any and all sizes and brands are appreciated. The family is currently using Huggies but appreciates them all).
