A night of acoustic horror and electric madness at the hive of ill repute with three of Brighton's spookiest alternative folk bands
About this Event

Start spooky season early this year and discover what untold evils are lurking in The Bee's Mouth basement...

CAPTAIN DANN AND THE IDLE HANDS

With vocals like a death rattle and songs about marooned sailors and cannibalsitic lovers, Captain Dann brings the dirty and wretched side of the past hurtling into the present day. Accompanied by his unhinged crew of the damned, The Idle Hands, the Captain promises a night of haunting folk instrumentation, screams of joy and terror, and the most sinister jigs you've ever seen

THE WITCHCRAFT AND VAGRANCY ACT

Few bands unnerve and excite in equal measure but The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act do exactly that, breathing new life into old songs about death like a coven of folk necromancers. Be it Victorian nursery rhymes or Medieval protest songs, make sure not to miss a second of this terrifying and terrifyingly entertaining trio

FELLROOT

Bringing to mind dark echoes of Fairport Convention and Jethro Tull, Fellroot combine a classic Folk-rock sound with icy metallic guitar tones and ethereal vocals, creating an effect that's the sonic equivalent of being chased through the woods at night
