🛥️ Full sails ahead — Capt. Quirk is pulling into one of Central Illinois' most scenic ports of call: Long Bridge Golf Course in Springfield on Friday, June 26.
Now look — we know what you're thinking. "A golf course? Really?" And to that we say: have you SEEN this place? Long Bridge overlooks the Sangamon River Valley, and in its natural setting makes you feel as though you've left the city altogether. If that's not the perfect backdrop for Yacht Rock, we don't know what is. The course restaurant overlooks the greens and oh man...the food...plus a wide array of craft beer makes it so you can eat well, drink well, and listen to us play.
And as an added bonus, we're bringing our good friend and amazing songstress Melanie Dennison from 3's Company and The Collective to start the festivities! She'll be singing some of her favorites to kick off the evening.
This is an outdoor evening on the water's edge with good food, cold drinks, and the smoothest band this side of the Sangamon. Bring your golf buddies, bring your significant other, bring whoever needs a Friday night that feels like a vacation.
