Capitol Day

Participants will learn about the process of passing laws in the Nebraska Legislature and how to effectively communicate with policymakers before breaking into small group to visit directly with state senators. This event is open to all women in STEM careers and is ideal for those who have little previous experience advocate for public policy.

We will be joined by State Senators Jana Hughes and Danielle Conrad to start the day and will wrap up with a lunch debrief session near by.

Registration is FREE and limited to 15.
