The Capital Chamber Choir is an auditioned ensemble of advanced singers from the Ottawa region. The choir and Artistic Director, Jamie Loback, are committed to bringing a diverse range of choral music—in particular, modern, Canadian, and local works—to audiences through high-caliber and engaging performances.
For this performance focus will be on Canadian composers from Victoria, BC all the way to Halifax, Nova Scotia!, including local composers!
Fun facts about this performance:
Two pieces are composed by members in the choir: Nicholas Piper and Andrea MacWilliams!
Three of the pieces can be heard by CCC on our 2017 album. Listen on Spotify and Itunes!
In 2018, CCC performed Piper’s “The Delight of Paradise” as a spotlight choir on the national stage in St. John’s, Newfoundland as part of the Podium Choral Conference & Festival.
