WowZA! Don’t miss an unforgettable night with something for the whole family to enjoy! 💖🎉🌈Get ready to experience a night like no other! On the 15th of March 2025, the Green Point Fan Walk will come alive with dazzling floats, electrifying performances, stunning costumes in a celebration of 15 incredible years of creativity, culture, and community.
This year’s lineup includes the hundreds of talented local performers and artists that have come to define our Cape Town Carnival, along with a host of exciting special guests! For the first time ever, the DHL Stormers will bring their electric energy and their mission of making Cape Town smile to the Cape Town Carnival as they join the parade in their dedicated ‘Taking the Cape by Storm’ float.

All the way from Brazil, Rio Carnival’s Queen of the Drums, Erika Januza, will add a touch of international flair, blending the spirit of the world’s biggest carnival with the magic of Cape Town.
And that’s not all—homegrown stars YoungstaCPT, Paxton, Bravo le Roux, the South African Youth Choir, Kfm94.5 and The Drag Cartel will be bringing the heat with show-stopping performances throughout the night. And to finish the evening off – join DJ Ready D and YoungstaCPT in the Carnival Village for the afterparty!
You will, of course, also be able to see our crowd favourites, the City of Cape Town Firefighters!
With this year’s theme, WowZA! promising glamour, wonder, and a uniquely South African spectacle, this is an event you don’t want to miss.
