CAPE are pleased to announce their Annual National Conference for 2025!
Supporting Senior Leaders, Designated Safeguarding Leads and Safeguarding Professionals to increase current knowledge and understanding in relation to the following key themes affecting safeguarding practice in education.

• Jac Bastain, Diversity Role Models: LGBTQ, Inclusion and Legislative Updates’
• Shaheen Myers, Balance Ed: ‘Focus on Staff Wellbeing
• Nikki Holmes, Safer Together - ‘Victim blaming, risks and vulnerabilities’.
• Superintendant Matt Davison, PREVENT Programme update, the understanding of PREVENT and work across England

About CAPE… CAPE is a professional network for those engaged in supporting schools
in their safeguarding responsibilities. Its geographical base is the north of England
though it has members from further afield. CAPE has no officers or formal
committees, but meets on a regular basis to arrange events for both members and
wider safeguarding sectors.
