The After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program grant, all staff who directly supervise students must meet the minimum qualifications.About this Event
Any PrimeTime staff member supervising students must meet one of the following qualifications:
A high school diploma/GED and a passing score on the Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (CAPE) which includes:
- Ability to Assist - 21 questions
- Reading & Writing - 25 questions
- Math - 24 questions
OR post-high school education requirements (AA degree or higher or 48 eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university).
What to bring:
- Must bring a Driver's License or Government Issued ID.
- Must bring a copy of U.S. High School Diploma, U.S. High School Transcript, GED, or Foreign Equivalency Certificate
- A calculator may be used for the Math section. (Phones will not be allowed)
You will be given a total of 90 minutes to complete the exam. Please note that you are allowed a total of three attempts (one per scheduled date) to pass.
