About this Event
Cape Cod Doxie Day is an annual celebration dedicated to all things dachshund, held in Barnstable Village to support local animal organizations! This year, Cape Cod Doxie Day is partnering with Cape Cod Beer to host an ultimate after-party. Join us on Saturday, September 27th, at 3 PM for an afternoon of Doxie-themed fun in the beer garden! This event is designed for dachshunds, wiener-wannabes, dachshund lovers, and their friends!
Festivities will include a variety of treats and dog toys, a special beer release for the humans, live music, food trucks, and much more! The event is free to attend, family-friendly, and, of course, dog-friendly!
EXCLUSIVE DOXIE DAY BEER RELEASE!
In celebration of our beloved low-riders, Cape Cod Beer, Cape Cod Doxie Day, and Stefanie Shank of Weenieton have teamed up to create Doxie Dunkel! This Bavarian Dark Wheat beer is infused with caramel and vanilla bean, delivering a dark and delicious brew with a hint of sweetness—making it the perfect fall treat.
Doxie Dunkel is best enjoyed cold, accompanied by your four-legged fur-baby! It will be available in a special 500mL bottle that you can purchase in advance via Eventbrite. Additionally, it will be on draft the night of the event!
Only 100 bottles will be made, so be sure to secure yours now. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Cape Cod Doxie Day. Don't miss out!
Nitty Gritty Event Details:
-Cape Cod Doxie Day takes place in Barnstable Village from noon to 3pm
-Doxie Day After Party takes place at Cape Cod Beer (5 min from Barnstable Village) from 3-8pm
-Free RSVP is suggested but not required
-Exclusive Doxie Dunkel bottles can be purchased in advance via Eventbrite, then picked up at Cape Cod Beer during the party.
-Cape Cod Beer will have ice-cold beer, hard seltzers, seltzer cocktails, and NA options available to purchase
-Red River BBQ food truck will be on site with food available to purchase until 8pm.
-This event is OUTSIDE in the beer garden. RAIN OR SHINE!
-There is plenty of seating in our beer garden. Tables and chairs are first-come, first-served.
-We have plenty of parking at the brewery, but carpooling or ride-sharing is never a bad idea.
-This event is FREE to attend, family-friendly, and, of course, dog-friendly!
