Can't Picnic: Backyard Games and Movie Night

As we get older, we start missing things we never thought twice about as kids. School trips, the picnics your parents dragged you to that you didn't want to go to, games you got pulled into before you could say no. They're all core memories now, and for a lot of us there's this quiet feeling that those days are just behind us. That it's too late to get any of that back.
It's not. It's actually the perfect time. And it might be the best way to make friends you'll actually keep.
Can't Social events are usually built around music. That works well for what those nights are, but it also means most of the evening is spent facing a stage. Can't Picnic is us doing something different on purpose: a more intimate format, a smaller crowd, and a night where the activity is the point. Less performance, more participation. The kind of night where you actually leave knowing the people you came with a little better, and maybe a few you didn't come with at all.
The first half of the evening runs through a few rounds of group games rooted in that same childhood picnic energy. We will also have low-barrier games to play while everything is going on as well. The games are inclusive, and designed to get everyone involved whether you're competitive or not. After games wrap up, the backyard shifts into an outdoor movie screening to close the night out.
Food is on site all night. Live BBQ and drinks from one vendor, fresh baked goods from another. Bottomless popcorn and tea is on the house for the movie. Grab a plate, find a spot, and settle in.
All ages, no alcohol. The backyard is in Scarborough. Exact address goes out once you grab your ticket.
