Can't Mic is back, and this time we're going all day.

July 18. 2 PM to 11 PM. The Can't Backyard, Scarborough.

Nine hours of live performances, open air connection, backyard games, local vendors, and a community that genuinely shows up for each other. From pre-booked performers in the afternoon to a DJ-powered social, a walk-up open mic where the crowd gets to take the stage, and a final night block of performances under the sky, this is everything we love about coming together, stretched into a full day.

THE DAY

2:00 PM — Doors Open
3:00–5:00 PM — Afternoon Performances
5:00–7:00 PM — Social Hour with DJ + Games
7:00–8:00 PM — The Open Floor (walk-up sign-ups open on arrival)
8:00–9:00 PM — Social Hour with DJ + Games
9:00–11:00 PM — Night Performances

Backyard games run all day: Jenga, Connect Four, Tug of War, Trampoline, Carrom, Cornhole.

PERFORMANCES

Music, spoken word, comedy, dance, magic, and anything else someone brings to the mic. The stage is open to all of it. Pre-booked performers take the afternoon and evening blocks. The Open Floor gives anyone in the crowd a chance to step up and share something. Sign up here.

VENDORS

Local makers, homecooks, and side hustlers set up shop in the yard. Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to support the people building something of their own.
