Can’t Draw Club is a touring art club founded by artist Gabriella Papa, aiming to bring people together through creativity. It’s an inclusive creative workshop series designed for all abilities, ages, and backgrounds. It is built on the idea that everyone can make art - regardless of experience.

Travel Diaries Workshop

Travel Diaries is a beginner-friendly abstract painting workshop focused on capturing the essence of a place through colour, shape, form and energy.

Designed for people who think they 'can’t draw', this beginner-friendly session helps you loosen up, paint instinctively, and step out of your head.

Rather than painting realistically, this session explores how to create abstract impressions onto canvas. You’ll be guided through painting exercises at first to warm up, designed to help you loosen your approach, work more instinctively, and move away from overthinking.

You’ll then enjoy longer creative blocks to create your landscapes, encouraging experimentation, layering, and intuitive decision-making. You’ll build abstract canvases inspired by places you know, remember, or imagine, learning how to respond more freely to paint with simple mark making, colour theory, perspective and expression.

You’ll leave not only with a finished canvas, but with a renewed trust in your intuition and a creative process you can return to whenever you need calm, clarity or flow.
