Make your own Canoe Serving Boat - Thursday October 23rd, 2025 at 6 pm Lazy Hiker Sylva Tap RoomLevel: Beginner Plus

Stop in During the Sylva Art walk, enjoy a cold Lazy Hiker Bever age while create your very own Canoe Serving Boat to keep or to gift!! This comes with it's own wooden serving "paddle". Great for dips both hot and cold. Finished piece is 11 x 3.5 x 1.5 and hold 1.5 cups
No previous experience required. I walk you through the entire process. We'll be using Stoneware clay. You’ll receive a pre slab rolled piece of clay, which you will then smooth out, cut out, and form into your very own serving piece. You'll be joining the sides and bottom fashion it into a rustic canoe shaped boat. I provide all tools and materials necessary to create your piece: Instruction, ware boards to shape and manage your clay project. Slab rolled clay, Patterns, tools for smoothing, cutting, finishing and shaping your piece.
We'll talk about color options and you'll be able to pick yours!
The pieces created will then be brought back to my studio for drying and bisque & glaze firing. Finished glazed projects will be returned to Innovation Station for pick up, within 3/4 weeks of class, allowing time for dryings, bisque firing and glazing & glaze firing .
Classes are non refundable. I will ship to you if desired for $10.
