Cannon Hill Park and River Rea Walk

Meet for an 11am start. Meet by the entrance to the MAC (Midlands Arts Centre, B12 9QH) that faces the park and lake, by the outdoor seated area near the large glass doors. Toilets are available inside the MAC. We will have lunch after the walk and you can bring a packed lunch to eat in the seated area or purchase one from the MAC.

Cars can park in the large car park near the MAC, which is a pay and display car park.

Buses from Birmingham city centre – you should be able to catch the (frequent) number 45 or 47 bus from St Martin’s Queensway (stop NS4) to Priory Road and walk to Cannon Hill Park from there. Please check bus timetables on the nxbus.co.uk website.

Please note that we will start promptly at 11am so please be on time as we do not want to leave anyone behind! Please also note that the finish time of this event is approximate.

Please wear strong footwear.
