Join us on October 20, 2025, at the beautiful championship golf course at Tanglewood in Clemmons, NC, for a day of celebrating our 75 years in business. Proceeds from our 1st annual charity golf tournament will support Alzheimer’s research and community programs.
E.H. (Howard) Cannon opened the doors to Cannon & Company in 1950. He officially opened his one-person accounting office on the third floor of the Nissen Building in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. His wife Julia was his secretary. She suggested adding the “company” to the small two-person office because it “wasn’t the size of the company, but the company that you keep,” and thus began one of the longest-standing companies still in operation— a successful business based on that simple and pure idea.

Tournament Details
• Captain’s Choice.
• Registration begins at 11:00 a.m.; shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.
• Box lunch provided for golfers prior to start.
• Putting contest prior to tournament start
• Team entry ($500) includes green fee, cart, boxed lunch and players appreciation ceremony afterwards.

• Prizes awarded for closest to the pin and longest drive.
• Mulligans for purchase $100 per team.
• Door prizes for all golfers.
Since Tanglewood Golf Club's Championship Course opened in 1958 it has consistently ranked as one of the top public courses in the U.S. This Robert Trent Jones layout has 99 bunkers. It was designed to test the best golfers in the world and fits Jones' design philosophy of "easy bogey, hard par."
