Canning Street and the surrounding Georgian Quarter showcase some of the finest ranges of buildings and streets in Liverpool. The cobbled streets, elegant terraces and traditional pubs have been the home to many famous and infamous residents over the years and this tour will explore some of their stories finishing in a traditional pub.
The walk is on public pavements of flagstones and cobbles. There will be multiple road crossings and although every effort will be made to use accessible paths some of the kerbs will not be dropped and may be difficult to navigate.
