Learn how to can in a casual environment surrounded by woods and in this three hour class, you’ll get hands on with water bath canning as well as discover some insights to quick pickling, pressure canning, & be able to preserve more than just pickles.
Classes are limited to 14 participants as a canner can only hold 7 quarts & we’ll be making two batches. See, you’re learning already! By the end of the class, you will walk away with the confidence to can your own salsa, jellies, applesauce & more!
For $60/per person, you’ll leave with a quart of your own flavorful farm fresh goodness made with locally grown ingredients. You will also have the opportunity to purchase more Feathers & Fruit canned goods!
Bring snacks or lunch as we will be engaged the entire class time but there will be plenty of opportunity for grazing & drinks. Participants should bring reusable water bottle, beverage of choice, and lunch or snacks.
