About this Event

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Smurfit Westrock, Iapi are thrilled to once again launch the national Cannes Young Lions competition in Ireland for 2026.

The Young Lions competition gives the next generation of industry superstars the chance to prove themselves answering a charity brief under intense pressure. It is one of our favourite initiatives that we run in Iapi and something we look forward to every year. It is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate & support young creative talent in Ireland.

Iapi will be selecting teams to represent Ireland across the categories of Print, Media, Public Relations, Film, Digital, Design and Young Marketers. More details on each individual category can be found on iapi.ie.

To compete, you must be 30 years of age or younger, born on or after 26th June 1995 and resident in Ireland.

Full Terms & Conditions are available on each category page, for any queries relating to entry, please email [email protected].

ARE YOU AN IAPI MEMBER? Check here before registering: https://iapi.ie/members

Competition Registration is now open and will close on 25th February at 12pm.

The briefings are taking place on Friday, 27th February from 8.30am at The Dock, 7 Hanover Quay, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2- a massive thanks to the team at Droga5 Dublin for hosting us.

HOW MUCH IS IT TO ENTER?

For the Print, Design, Digital, Film, Media and Public Relations categories, the cost of entry is €200 per team.

For the Young Marketers category, the cost of entry is €400 per team.
