Canned Heat, the uncrowned kings of boogie/blues for over 57 years, are coming back to Europe for a series of live shows in the Summer of 2024 along with the release of their first new album in over 15 years… “FINYL VINYL” on Ruf Records will be available in March in all formats, Vinyl, CD and Streaming. Drummer Fito de la Parra, who has kept the band on track for decades, ("On The Road Again,” "Let's Work Together," "Going Up The Country") is proud to present the new, powerful line-up to the European fans. Dale Spalding (vocals, guitar, harmonica) from Austin/Texas, one of the most renowned harmonica players from the USA, has been with the band for 17 years. Newer to the quartet are bassist Rick Reed (Paul Butterfield, Chicago Blues Reunion, Fabulous Thunderbirds, among others), as well as guitarist and singer Jimmy Vivino, whose "Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band" was the house band on the legendary "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" TV show from the very beginning. "It’s one of the best and most fun line-ups ever" - Fito's comment on the current Canned Heat.
