Did you ever wonder about the history of the twelve days of Christmas? Or did you know that in Jacobean England gifts were given on New Year’s Day?Our manor house has been decorated in traditional greenery and the yule log is ready for the fire.
Join us this December for an intimate candlelit tour around our House, led by one of our passionate volunteers, to discover the secrets of 17th Century Christmas traditions and how the Digby family would have spent the festive period.
There are four sessions running:
