Join the YWCA New Britain Sexual Assault Crisis Service for a compassionate event during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Illuminate the strength of survviors with a soothing candlelight yoga session, followed by an opportunity to express support through heartfelt letters. Stand in solidarity as we raise awareness and honor the resiliency of survivors.

NO PRIOR YOGA EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Event Highlights:

Candelight Yoga: Immerse yourself in the soothing ambiance of candlelight as you embark on a gentle yoga journey led by our Trauma Informed Yoga and Mindfulness Facilitator Nikki Adams.

Love Letters: Channel the healing power of written expression by participating in our Love Letters session. Crafted with care, these letters are intended to provide survivors with words of encouragement, empathy, and solidarity. You'll have the opportunity to write and receive heartfelt letters, creating a powerful exchange of love and support.

Community Connection: This event aims to foster a sense of unity and understanding within our communities. Connect with fellow survivors, share your experiences if you feel comfortable, and witness the strength that comes from collective healing.

Candlelight Vigil: Conclude the evening with a candlelight vigil, symbolizing resilience, hope, and unity. Together we'll create a luminous display that represents the collective strength of survivors and their supporters.

Admission Information:

This event is open to survivors of sexual violence, their allies, and anyone who wishes to support the healing journey. Admission is free, but pre- registration is encouraged to ensure we can provide a comfortable and supportive environment for all atendees.
