Held in specially selected venues in comfortable idyllic settings so you can soar with classical music in a relaxed but awe inspiring atmosphere bathed by the flicker of over a thousand candlelights. Prepare to soar into the clouds! This concert series is coming to the The M.T. Theatre, a historical venue of purpose and elegance located in downtown Asheville, NC.

After traveling around the world—in cities like Edinburgh, London, Kotor, Montenegro and Vancouver, BC—the experience of Candlelight Orchestra has finally made its way to Asheville! The concerts feature the classical romantics and your all-time favorites.

With over a thousand flickering candles illuminating the performers, the Candlelight Orchestra concerts present a collection of classical music over the course of 60 mesmerizing minutes.

Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight ambiance is provided through flameless candles.

The Candlelight Orchestra series takes place on April 23 2022 with three available seatings to choose from (4pm, 6pm, 8pm). Each seating is a 60-minute performance for an easy fit—into your Asheville dinner plans. Doors will open an hour prior to each show—beverages will be available in the reception salon prior to each seating.

Our concerts are a mix of a theater show, classical concert and masterclass. Whether our soprano is singing a song from Les Misérables Broadway show or our string musicians are playing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Candlelight Orchestra is an unforgettable experience.

The Candlelight Orchestra was created as a way to illuminate the world of classical music in a new light. You know how some people are so intimidated by classical music that they stay away? With us, things are different. The Candlelight Orchestra has youthful, excited musicians who perform from their hearts every evening. You’ll see us having fun with the audience, clapping and laughing and swaying with songs that are filled with so much joy.

From the founder of Candlelight Orchestra…

“When I was a teenager I wrote a song called Eternal Love. What a revelation it was. I was spellbound by the sweeping melody that came flooding through me and the piano, which has almost become the rhythm of my life. But with my own orchestra, we play a lot of the worlds most beloved music. My dream is to help make the entirety of classical music enjoyable and delightful for everyone!”

The year is shaping up to become one of the most successful years for the Candlelight Orchestra. They have already visited Europe, the Baltics, North America and South America, and that’s just the beginning! The Candlelight Orchestra believes that music connects the world as one—one heart and one soul, bound together by the joy of music.

Following their annual summer break, the Candle Light Orchestra is excited to begin the fall and winter concert series with a USA tour performing in Charleston, SC, Miami, Dallas, San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver and many more cities.

After spending some time in the Rockies of Colorado, they’re on the road again for their magical Candlelight Orchestra Christmas concert. The beautiful series features over a thousand candlelights illuminating the musicians.

How much time in advance should I arrive to the event?

Attendees may arrive up to 1-hour prior to their concert start time. A wine and beverage reception area will be available prior to the concert seating to allow time for socializing and beverage purchase. Please arrive at least thirty minutes before the start of the concert in order to be assigned a seat within your purchased zone.

What happens if I arrive late?

An usher will receive you upon arrival and in-between songs will help you find your seat.
