Candlelight Flow with Madio Yin- Yoga

Unwind and restore in this soothing Yin Yoga class, designed to calm your mind and deeply open your body. Each session features a guided meditation with a unique theme, inviting mindfulness and inner reflection. Through a sequence of long-held postures focusing on deep hip openers, gentle twists, and full-body stretches, you'll release tension and cultivate relaxation. Perfect for all levels, this class offers a serene environment to reconnect with yourself and find balance amidst the glow of candlelight.

Madison Wallner

Originally from Lake Tahoe, Madio is a current Graduate Student at UCSC. Prior to UCSC Madio enjoyed a successful collegiate athletic career, at Vassar College, playing for and captaining the Vassar College Women's Soccer Team. Due to her athletic background Madio first approached yoga from an athlete's perspective--seeing yoga as a way to challenge the body and to stay fit. After completing her 200 YTT at Maui Yoga Shala in 2022, Madio dove deep into yogic philosophy and asana technique. Today Madio's classes balance strength and core heating movement with yogic teachings and interesting asanas. Madio champions accessibility whether it be language accessibility, with spanish offerings, physical accessibility, involving levels and adjustments, or socioeconomic accessibility offering information about studio deals. Madio strives to create class communities where people from all backgrounds can enjoy the experience of breathing and moving together.
