Emerging from Seattle’s burgeoning mid-1990s grunge scene, Candlebox’s take on the genre grabbed the punk and indie elements and flung them back into the bluesy, classic-style hard rock that grunge originated from. Candlebox quickly found mainstream success with their deep, lyrically driven melodies and big radio hooks. Power anthems like “Far Behind” and “You,” from their debut, self-titled album exploded onto the charts, selling millions of copies and propelling the album to quadruple-platinum status.
Even after 2023’s supposed farewell album “The Long Goodbye,” these iconic rockers say they have no plans of slowing down anytime soon. They’re back in 2026 with the “Can’t Quit You Tour,” celebrating 33 years of rock & roll.
