The Candle Tea has been First Moravian’s Christmas gift to the Greensboro community since 1962. Join us this December for live music in the Sanctuary, refreshments in the Tavern, Moravian craft demonstrations (star-making, beeswax candle-making, pottery-throwing, blacksmithing, and more), the Putz, and an opportunity to purchase your favorite holiday treats, including chicken pies, lighted Advent stars, and Moravian baked goods such as sugarcake, stollen, and apple dumplings. This year, our event returns to two days! Our 2023 Candle Tea will be held Friday, December 1st (2:00-9:00pm) and Saturday, December 2nd (10:00am-12:00pm). We look forward to welcoming back many of our beloved vendors and musical groups after a pandemic hiatus.
