Candle Making Workshop

Interested in making your very own scented soy candle? You've come to the right place.

Keri with EKP Creations Candle Co will guide you through the fun process of candle-making. We provide all of the tools you need to make your very own scented soy candle. Each person can choose from our selection of hand-cut and polished upcycled wine bottles. Space is limited to 7 people. Total class time is typically 1.5 hours. We will be sampling 6 scents from our collection.

Your Single/No Wine ticket includes:

One 13oz short label wine bottle. *You can upgrade to a 16oz wine bottle for an additional $5, and can add an additional candle for $20.

Your Single/Wine + Snacks ticket includes:

One 13oz short label wine bottle. One glass of wine and a charcuterie board of snacks *You can upgrade to a 16oz wine bottle for an additional $5, and can add an additional candle for $20.

Keep in mind that your candles will need at least 24 hours to cure and can be picked up during normal business hours (Tuesday-Friday 11a-4pm) as early as the next business day.

Candlemakers Emiliano and Keri Palustre (EKP) poured their first candles in 2014 in their kitchen in Long Beach, California. There was something intriguing about the idea of upcycling bottles of the wine they loved and turning them into something special. Over the next few months, they refined and perfected their process, and started attending local arts fairs, where their candles flew off the shelves. Keri soon left her office job to make candlemaking her full-time obsession, while Emiliano refined his glass cutting skills so he could hand-cut and polish every upcycled bottle. Today, EKP Creations’ candles come in a vast array of scents and formats, and are featured in retail stores and artisan markets throughout California.
