Candle Making for Beginners

This course is a hands-on introduction to the soothing and creative craft of soy wax candle making.
Whether you're looking to create beautiful gifts, start a new hobby, or eventually make your own products to sell, this course covers all the essentials.
You’ll learn how to select the right waxes, wicks, and containers, measure and add fragrance oils correctly, and add colours to personalise your candles. With step-by-step guidance and expert tips, you’ll also learn how to calculate wax and fragrance quantities to suit different vessels.
Taught in a fun, friendly, and relaxed environment, this course is perfect for beginners.
The first session focuses on building foundational skills while creating a variety of candles using supplied materials. In the second session, you'll bring your own containers and apply what you've learned to make custom candles with the support of the tutor.
By the end of the course, you'll leave with your own hand-poured candles and the confidence to continue your candle-making journey at home.
