Join historic educators at the Thomas Clarke House (at Princeton Battlefield State Park) at 1pm on March 15 for an afternoon of candle making! Visitors will engage in a brief history of pre-electric lighting in the colonial home and then make their own wax candles to keep (using the candle dipping method). Candle molds will also be demonstrated.The candle making will take place outdoors with a fire as the wax melting heat source, so please dress appropriately. This event is recommended for children ages 4/5 and above. Parental assistance is required for the youngest chandlers.
