LMHC-D, Intern Department Director, Clinical Supervisor, EMDR

I am a seasoned clinical leader and administrator with over a decade of experience in mental health program development, clinical supervision, and organizational strategy. As the Director of the Intern Department at HumanTold, New York, NY, I led the creation and strategic development of a comprehensive intern program, growing the department to a 30+ member team of supervisors and interns. I have designed and implemented clinical training programs that integrate current social, emotional, and global issues, ensuring that interns are well-prepared for complex clinical environments. My leadership has focused on aligning cross-departmental strategies and building strong partnerships with academic institutions to ensure a continuous pipeline of well-trained interns. I emphasize equity-focused practices, promoting a diverse and inclusive training cohort while maintaining high standards for clinical excellence and patient care.

In addition to my administrative and program leadership roles, I maintain an active clinical practice, providing trauma-focused therapy to a diverse caseload of clients, specializing in trauma, eating disorders, family systems, and couples therapy. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness into my clinical work, ensuring that treatment is both effective and trauma-informed. As a Clinical Supervisor, I mentor and coach interns, overseeing their professional development and clinical performance. I have led initiatives to align clinical services with best practices, developed metrics-based evaluation systems for clinical outcomes, and facilitated interdepartmental collaborations to ensure integrated and coordinated care. Through my combination of clinical expertise and administrative leadership, I continue to drive organizational and clinical excellence in the mental health field.
