About this Event

The African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church East Conference Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring a candidate forum for Duval County upcoming electoral offices. The Alliance cordially invites you to participate in this forum. It will take place on August 1, 2024, at New Mount Moriah African Methodist Episcopal Church, 880 Melson Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida, 32254, the Reverend Sha’Reff Rashad, Pastor.

The forum title is “IF I PASS THE MIC, WILL YOU TELL THE TRUTH?” In addition, there will be a “Meet and Greet the Candidates” reception from 5:45 - 6:25 p.m. The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. Candidates for State Senator, State House Districts, School Board Districts, Circuit and County Court Judges have been invited.
