Candid Conversation: Wins and Losses from the Beautiful Game
About this Event
Our panel will take a look at what the World Cup meant for the region long after the final score as we identify the wins and losses for Tarrant County residents.
The long-awaited nine matches are projected to bring $1.5 billion and over 100,000 daily visitors to North Texas. But beyond the excitement and global attention, Tarrant officials are now keeping a close eye on the county's transportation, public safety, public health and the experience of local residents. Yet the question will be, was this soccer spectacle worth the investment?
