About this Event

As Mayor Mattie Parker approaches the end of her third term, many Fort Worth residents anticipate updates on a green space initiative she launched in 2023 to conserve the city's green spaces in the face of rapid growth and development.
Our panel of experts will discuss the obstacles to preserving Fort Worth’s natural areas and what's at stake for the region's outdoor environment and residents' quality of life.

Moderator:

Nicole Lopez, environment reporter, Fort Worth Report

Panelists:

  • Allison Docker, green space champion, City of Fort Worth
  • Carrie Kasnicka, Texas project manager, Trust for Public Land
  • Paxton Motheral, vice president, Cassco Development Co., Inc.
  • Rachel Seets, North Texas acquisitions manager, Native Prairies Association of Texas

Breakfast and beverages will be served starting at 7:30 a.m. while supplies last, and the discussion will begin promptly at 8 a.m. in the Texas Wesleyan University Martin Ballroom. RSVP today or contact us with any questions.
