Enjoy music from Ramón Ayala, José José, Celia Cruz, and Rocío Dúrcal with your Greeley Philharmonic this Día de Los Muertos. On November 1st, this concert explores themes of life and death. To start, “La llorona” explores mystifying folklore themes and death. Then, get in your feels with “El triste" by José José. The second half of the concert honors life with upbeat music. The norteño, “Un rinconcito en el cielo” by Ramón Ayala, and the bolero, “Amor eterno” by Rocío Dúrcal, express love. To end the night, dance to cumbia and salsa with “Colombia tierra querida” by Lucho Bermúdez and “La vida es un carnaval” by Celia Cruz.
