Once again, Cancer Trials Ireland's Cancer Retreat brings together Ireland’s key stakeholders in clinical oncology research to update members and the community on the critical trends and developments across the cancer clinical trials ecosystem. This year's topics include:

  • Optimisation Trials - International speaker, plus CTI feedback on EUnetCCC symposium / steps towards funding
  • Update on POI2 - progress to date and next steps
  • Beau-RCSI / MEDSIR / CTI 5th May 2026 'IIT Think Tank' - outcomes and next steps
  • CTI’s start-up team - latest metrics
  • A Public & Patient Involvement (PPI) panel tracking evolution & achievements since 2016
  • Learnings from recent FDA audit of a CCTRU - Tallaght University Hospital
  • Cost savings and value of oncology trials - site-level insights
  • Breakout discussion groups: pertinent short and long-term developments (Clinical Trials Advisory Committee; Improving Ireland’s status as a host nation for research, and more)

The Cancer Retreat is a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues across the community and contribute to important conversations. A key focus will be on interactive discussion, with dedicated breakout sessions designed to capture collective insight and inform future strategy. Industry attendance welcomed.

Closing
